Seeds of Health Computer Science and Technology Coordinator Kaitlyn Wright recognized as “Innovator in the Field”
MILWAUKEE (Nov. 30, 2017) – Seeds of Health, Inc. is proud to announce that its Computer Science and Technology Coordinator Kaitlyn Wright has been recognized by BrightBytes as an “Innovator in the Field” for its international platform, Clarity. Additionally, BrightBytes released a case study on Seeds of Health’s technology professional development model and have been using it as an example and sharing it with school districts across the nation.
The Clarity platform measures the impact of technology use on student learning and personal development. It uses that data to provide schools with action plans and recommends innovators in the field. Seeds of Health was established as an advanced district nationally in technology and learning. Wright was selected as one of a small group of innovators to be listed on the platform for her work in professional development with the district.
Wright has been with the Seeds of Health organization since 2010. She taught Social Studies at Tenor High School for three years prior to assuming the role of Computer Science and Technology Coordinator in July 2013. Wright earned her bachelor’s degree in Secondary Education from the University of Wisconsin Madison.
Founded in 1983, Seeds of Health, Inc. is the only K-12 charter school district in the state of Wisconsin serving approximately 1,200 students in four high schools and a K-8 elementary program.
